Intrduction

Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain 8,586m KANGCHENJUNGA. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers.

KANGCHENJUNGA:

Kangchenjunga has an altitude of 8,586 meters (28,169ft). The first ascent on Kanchenjunga was made on 25 may 1955.

Although it is the third highest peak in the world. Kanchenjunga range is not just the third highest mountain in the world, but also a sacred entity in Sikkim. It’s five peaks symbolise the five treasures- Gold, silver, Gems, food grains and religious texts. It is the topmost glory of Sikkim with it’s wonderful snow scenery.
